Shaazia Adam is a Mozambican/South African Fashion Designer, whose passion and enthusiasm began at a young age of 12 years old. In 2006, Shaazia, who is also a community activist, launched her brand at age 16 at Club Militar. In the same year, she started showcasing at the Mozambique Fashion Week, and continued to do so for three years straight, flaunting elegant, intricate and delicate couture pieces. The designer has always been passionate about embroidery and tailoring, henceforth she began specialising in evening gowns and wedding dresses. “If a woman wears one of the dresses I’ve made, that client will certainly have a one-of-a-kind piece.”
